The MobIVA Motility kits contain:
Double-chambered flow cells for
a. 5 x 2 assay performances.
The flow cells are provided with already bound HMM (rabbit).
Rhodamin-labeled actin filaments in ready-to-use concentrations
Washing buffer
Assay buffer
Glucose stock
For optimal results, the glucose stock solution as well as actin are provided in aliquots for each assay performance.
Applications of the in vitro Motility Assay (IVMA):
- Investigations of the mechanism of action of motor proteins.
- Visualization of individual motor proteins moving in vitro.
