Cell Stretching Device
The system consists of two parts: the pressure chamber including the power supply, and the stretching manifold.
The pressure chamber generates cyclic pressure changes above and below the atmospheric pressure.
These pressure variations are relayed to the stretching unit via small tubings and produce an up- and down deformation of the flexible membrane of the six-well-plate resulting in stretching of the cells.
